Privacy, plainly

This site collects as little as a directory reasonably can, and the most sensitive thing it handles — your quote request — goes only where you send it.

Quote requests

• What we collect: the job details and contact information you type into the request form, and which companies you selected.
• Who sees it: exactly the companies you selected, plus the site operators for quality control. Nothing is sold, nothing goes to any other network.
• How long: only as long as needed to deliver the request and handle quality follow-up, then deleted. Ask us to delete a request sooner: hello@tristatefire.org.
• What not to send: building plans, alarm details, access codes, or keys. The form warns you too.

Comparison organizer

The quote comparison tool runs entirely in your browser and saves your entries in your own browser storage. Nothing you type there is transmitted to us or anyone else.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which guides are useful; Google sets cookies for this, and any browser setting or extension can block them. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no ad trackers on this site.

Third parties

When you follow a link to a company, to FDNY, or to any other site, that site’s privacy policy applies — not this one. If you email us, we use your message to fix the listing or answer you, and nothing else.
